When i'm upset, my characters tend to die violent deaths, but when I'm normal, they go out all flowery. ^.^ It just depends on my mood for the moment, and my co-writer understands since he does the same thing depending on the music he listens to when he's writting it. Heehee yes she is, but shes got some gruesome suprises behind all that :D, Ill draw a picture of her seen as she needs her own section on here yet, so you can see what I mean and Ill right up her curse is all about too, like the others its a lengthy story :D! She is very innocent and likes to play, unfortunately she uses people like toy dolls and can play very rough >:) if she gets upset or doesnt get her way, its her toys who get the blame.
At the very start of there are quite a few, Im not entirely decided on the exact amount though :P

2011-07-21 [MissionGenocide]: The girl in the lake is "The Submerged", her curse stops from ever rising up from the filthy water, her entire body has shriveled up, she is trapped in an eternal state of drowning and she is writhe with disease and infection from the putrid lake.
The guy with no skin is "The unveiled". His entire body is turned inside out, whats more his nerve endings float around him like feelers, causing even the slight breeze that flows through the house, or the touch of his feet on the floor, to cause him unbearable pain.
If youve talking to about who I think you are, the big wierd one is Brant, The Lost. Cursed from even before his birth, brant never stopped growing limbs and organs. It took a while for the curse to be noticed, but soon hideously malformed and mutated body parts started erupting from inside him, before too long the constant growths exploded out of control, his former body now nothing but a shredded remnant, another lump of flesh on the collosal mound of writhing and flailing mouths, eyes, arms and organs that make up his form. Those unfortunate to meet him are not given the curse, as Brant is not a vassal, but they are absorbed into the flesh, where Brant feeds of thier bodily functions to sustain his body.
the guy on the cross?? no hes still there, hes a very important curse, the very first one, the man who shot shun dead and built the mansion over the tree!!

2011-07-22 [MissionGenocide]: Its a silent H for Climh, so its just pronounced Clim lol, sorry to make things confusing XD, aww Im glad you like him, he doesnt need to see them, it works if he hears or touches them, anything that lets him know a person exists.
Rassil is pronounced Ra-zeel :)
Umm bat wings, do you mean the one with her arms across her face? if so then that is Slyvia, the endless scream, she is cursed with n extreme case of Panphobia, which is an irrational fear of anything and everything, which you can imagine is horrific torment.
The curse up on the wall is Emelia, the Bloodstained Frost, she is cursed with a body temperature of -75 degrees, and Shun sealed her away within the waterworks of the mansion, the moisture in her body froze, and over time icicles forced their way slowly out of her body, eventually lifting her off the floor and freezing her in place, the chattering of her teeth can be heard echoing through the pipes in the mansion.
The guy holding his head is Psychotica, this boy was chained to the wall inside the curse by a crazed religious cult who believe offering children for the curse to take in will protect them. Shun gladly took the child and then cursed the cultists anyway. The child was cursed to forever see in disturbing flashes, and to hear everything one hundred times louder than it was, so in a house full of screaming, the fragile boy quickly went insane, resorting gnawing off his own legs to escape from the wall, only to drag himself aimlessly through the house as he sinks deeper into madness, often collapsing into severe fits that can last for days at a time.

2011-07-22 [MissionGenocide]: Oh, yeah so I did, haha sorry :P that one is "the epicentre of pain", as far as physical suffering goes, his curse is the worst, as he is cursed to feel all the pain that is felt all over the world, by every single living thing. He is surrounded by a whirling vortex, swirling its way into its body which is the pain, so concentrated that is visible to the eye.
haha thats fine, its not very clear with some of them whether they are girls or boys. and Id be glad to draw Emilia aswell, ill do it after Vicky :)
Umm the guy with the insects?, the one with the huge tentacle coming out of his back with the maggots falling from him? that one is "The Apple", which as you may have guessed, is cursed with an infestation of maggots who feed, breed and crawl throughout his rotting body, he actually hangs from one of the trees within the mansion grounds!
the one with the parasites im assuming is the one next to him, that is "Belmia, the heaving agony" she is rather disgusting lol. She vomits constantly, and the parasites, which connect straight from her stomach, suck it all back up so she can throw it back up again. Shun preyed upon her when she developed an eating disorder and forced herself to throw up.
The one falling to peices? which one do you mean there? sorry im not very good am i haha :P
Well Ivan, he moves about much like a slug, not very fast lol. Brant couldnt possibly move himself, except across his own flesh, which is quite a distance mind you :P.

2011-07-23 [MissionGenocide]: Ahhh, well, thats a boy heehee :) and he is Shaurn, the Eaten Alive. Its very hard to tell in that small picture of him, but hes covered in mouths, they are on in his in such a way that his body feeds into thier jaws, such as around his necks and arms. All day they constantly eat him, he can even taste his own body as they devour him, but everything they eat is simply reformed as they move around his body. Its happening all inside his body aswell!

Marius can walk yeah, but hes locked in the room he was left in so he cant really go far, he was abandoned because he had a medical condition, one that he needed medication for which was an expense his mother no longer wanted to be burdened with anymore, and seeing the cursed mansion as a way to be rid of him without any chance of been found out, she took the risk, overdosed him on his medication then dumped him there in the dead of night :)
do you mean like, ghosts and stuff like that? ive never though about wether or not he could. They wouldnt spook him much though, theyd be nothing compare to the nightmares Shun visits upon him ;)

Why are humans so horrified of cursed anyway? Yeh, they are a bit unpleasant to be near but people react like they are some kind of monsters.

2011-07-24 [MissionGenocide]: People are afraid that they migth be cursed aswell, they are afraid of the unknown and some cursed have such violent afflictions they are a danger to be around, such as Glen and Azuza. Plus you know how nasty people can be around, and there are those who sympathise with the cursed people but they are outvoiced by the majority :P
The Barons curse, more than anything, is guilt. Hes too small on the picture to see, but his entire body has faces all over it, they are all faces of people who have lost thier lives because of what he did, and they constantly scream and yell at him, blaming and cussing at him. He was the one who unleashed the curse on the world, so as he lays deep deep in the mansions basement, he knows all the pain he and the others feel is all his fault.
Shaurn is pronounced "Shorne" :)
The Recluse is trapped in a pitch black void, cut off the rest of the world, there is absolutely nothing there but pitch darkness, he cannot feel anything under his feet, he cannot see or feel himself, he cannot even hear his own voice. To someone like him, who used to revel in peoples company all his life, to be so alone and lost is the worst thing ever. The curse takes your worst nightmare and makes it manifest on your body

The auras arent very big, they only need to effect the one person after all :)
Not really thought about how they sound, except for Shun, he has a very distinct voice ^_^. I guess there should be some sort of distortion in thier voices.
Oh the curses know about each other, well the ones theyve seen, there are some exceptions like obviously the recluse who doesnt know the others.
Well, if Shun decides it will be a curse that changes then yeah, its pretty much up to him what a curse does to you, and he can change it as and when he pleases :).
hahaha the clothes, well yes, I dont want to have to draw naughty parts lol XD, I guess with some, like glen, it doesnt make sense that there clothes are still there :P
Climhs father suffered a horrific death, bieng the only one in the house when the townsfolk forced their way in. He was treated a curse, treated as an immortal, and literally beaten and torn to death :(.
There may be others I have yet to design, its certainly a possibilty with Shun growing stronger each day!

The whole black part of the broken appears when he feels aggresive emotions like anger, hate, jealousy, disgust, the sort of emotions hed be feeling when attacking people.
I think youre absolutelty right about the voices :D we want them to be as scaaaary as possible!

Well pretty much all I know ive either told you or is written up on here. The only thing I havent mentioned is Claire, the Saviour, shes an angel, but she doesnt find out until she gets cursed. She pretty much the heroine of the story I guess, and Marius has a thing for her haha :D.Cause shes an angel, she partly resists Shuns curse, but she is stuck in the house. Like so many she went in looking for her father (who isnt actually here real father as shes an angel) but she ends up making it her mission to put an end to the curse. IVe never got round to drawing her.
Ive done the picture of Vicky, so I think Ill do Claire next, its been so long since ive even touched on this story but youve got me motivated to start drawing them again :D

The estate is pretty large, the baron that owned was a very wealthy man, he owned alot of the land around the mansion too (its all covered in a nasty looking forest now, thanks to Shun :D)

She can, she can still function as a person and Shun despises it, the other curses follow her when she finds them.
Yeah it only works on humans, it works on other cursed aswell, as they are still human.
Oh yes all those with full wings can fly, except the Unrequieted, its kind of an insult to injury that Shun gave them him, he cant lift the wieght, there are some whose wings are just too small/damaged. Claire can fly.

Amy Evens D'eath was the daughter of an undertaker. She spent her days around the sorrows of the grieving, and the bodies of the dead. She hated it, and wanted to get away from it all.
One evening, her own grandmother was very ill. Unable to face her death, she ran from the hospital to an isolated place. As the final moments of her grandmother's life slipped away, Amy cried out that if she would face death every day of her life that she would rather be dead herself!
Shun was listening to that remark...
Amy went home, only to find a few days later that her skin was starting to rot off, painfully.
Realizing what had happened, she left home, this time for good, and escaped into the wilderness.
She had become The Living Dead.
Appearance: Amy has blue eyes, greyish-white hair and a grey complexion. She is wearing a yellow dress, sturdy shoes coloured orange, and a large red bow in her untidy hair. Her skin rots and regenerates in front of one's eyes, she never looks quite the same twice.
Personality: Amy is extremely firey, and is willing to defend herself if someone tries to mess with her. She refuses to enter the horrid confines of Tornhill, instead taking to the wilderness. She even once hit Vallen on the head with a paving stone!
Items:A large frying pan and a backpack.

2011-07-29 [MissionGenocide]: Inside the house? its a horrific place, its Shun's domain, his power is at its greatest there. and once you go inside, you will never be able to get out. The cursed are sometimes dangerous, violent or deeply disturbing and they can emerge from the shadows or from round a corner without warning, especially after the house has shifted and you dont even know if its clear behind you anymore, and you never go long without hearing some wail of terror or pain. There is next to no light there and in the dark corners of the rooms lie the bodies of the lucky ones who died, though who knows wether someone living is among them. Even as youre approaching the house through the dark woods, Shun is slowly working his way into your mind, whispering madness into your ear.
Ill do my best for a profile and pic for amy, though like I said im not very good at girls heehee

2011-08-02 [MissionGenocide]: She will have to be careful and secretivr, most people in the twon dont take kindly to cursed :)
Shuns curse takes your inner fears and pains and manifests them on your body, or it can take an insecurity or deforimty you have and severely exaggerate it. All the characters on here, already pretty serious problems mentally or physically, thats why the curse is so powerful on them, they a first level cursed. Below them, are second and third level, these people all have the same simple curse, extreme sickness and pain (second level bieng worst than third level), these were generally normal people with no severe problems before bieng cursed. They exists in large numbers in around the houses, squirming and wailing around each other in dark corners like maggots. They are used as playthings of the vassals, and Brant has swallowed thousands of them into his form. Shun even has a horrid power to twist, shape and move them, squishing them together like clay which he can mould as she sees fit. As they are all immortal, they are powerless but to suffer through everything. Its not nearly as bad as bieng a first level curse, but its definetly not easy :P
Well, Kira (the younger one) is constantly tormented by Shun, and towards the end of the story, when the final confrontation is near, Kira snaps, lets go of Kishas hand, and as promised is able to escape the house. The parts of Kira that his older brother had on him are ripped from his body, but he doesnt get his back, leaving only a half of a boy. Kisha becomes lost in anger and despair and sensing an opportunity, Shun changes his curse and he becomes The Betrayed, Shuns most powerful Vassal. I never got round to drawing him in that form though, I think Ill have to do it now :D

As for her expeditions, she has had a couple of close calls already.
2011-08-02 [MissionGenocide]: Climh is looking for the mansion, because he thinks its somewhere he can be alone and escape his curse. However as he refuses to take his eyes off the floor, in fear of seeing somebody, its very hard for him. He wont ask people where it is as hearing someones voice causes his curse aswell. On top of that, Shun, who as we know likes to torment his cursed, knows Climh wants to find the house, and Shun isnt about giving people want they want. In the future, Shun may decide to bring Climh to the house so he can dissapoint him.

Well she kind of brings them together as she meets them, but the first one she meets is Marius. She ends up with Rassil, the twins and Darien too soon after.

On top of that, the small child is just his discreet form, his true form, is much more graphic, its the grinning tree like thing on his picture. Hes immortal so he wouldnt die, but it would take away from his curse, so the simple thing is Shun wouldnt let it happen, he would rob him of strength or will till he couldnt do it, or Shun would close the wound in his chest. None of this would stop Climh trying though :P

Once Raz was left on his own with no funding once research on the tortured curse was banned, he couldnt afford luxuries like safety and hygiene in his work. Unfortunately once he accidentaly ended up cursing himself, it was his desperation that evolved the curse. It might even be said that his curse turned his research into an obsession as he now experiments on himself.

Most of the curses range between 14-18 years old. Well at least thats the age they are frozen at, as they are immortal. Of course there are exceptions, Shun was immortal when he was born thousands of years ago, and the aborted nephilim isnt even a year old, while the baron was about 35 when he was cursed.

My name is Jessica Brooke, I am 23 years old. I came to Britain from Canada to investigate stories of the paranormal coming from a small village.
All my life, I had seen the worst in people's actions, everyday situations and mundane things that frightened no one else. I had learned to keep it to myself, but the unnerving thoughts where still there.

Almost instantly, my irrational nature and willingness to see the worst in people spiraled out of control. When others with my condition tried to interact with me, I saw only plans to harm me and fled. Finally, Rassil convinced me he was my friend, he saved me from becoming a destructive force.
My mind constantly whirrs at lightning speed, forming evil monsters plotting equally evil things in every shadow, making up impossible things I know cannot be true and making me unable to not believe them.

Meg's been there through thick and thin, and things are certainly thin all over recently!
As for not seeing it, most of it is on chat due to a desire to not have everyone watch us RP. That can lead to long explanations, like the ones I am giving you.
In case you are wondering, Kisha fell in love with Meg before he had his....big problems. She tries to tell him she won't desert him, even though he is no longer like he was, but he isn't sure if he can believe her, of course.

2011-09-14 [MissionGenocide]: The Aborted Nephilim, literally survived an abortion, Shun was somehow able to curse the unborn fetus at just 8 weeks since conception. The child would continue to grow, but like Marius, the chemicals and drugs used to abort where mutated by the curse, having a horrific effect on the child. All his limbs ache with terrible growing pains. Once born he continued to grow to the size of a 14 year old, but retained the fraility and development of an unborn fetus. His mind is that of a baby, except he recognises and feels how his mother tried to have him exterminated.
Then there was the years of unspeakable experiments he went through after birth, before the ban on the research. They knew he was immortal, so he went through extreme suffering. Once he was abandoned in the house, Shun saw he was alone, confused and in despair, he feed evil into him from the umbillical cord that was still attached, causing it to become a sentient bieng, one that does all the killing and cursing, while the Nephilim, without even eyelashes to close his eyes, or the proper muscles and spine to turn his neck, is forced to watch, his mind becoming ever more scarred. He sobs quietly, one of a baby who knows no-one will come.
Wether or not he is an angel, nobody knows but Shun. But Claire finds it very difficult to fight him.

2011-09-14 [MissionGenocide]: He cant fly no, his wings are tattered and dieing. He can flap them wearily. He hovers above the ground, he moves around eerily slowly, but can teleport. Its all through the evil energy that power his umbillical worm. Shun gave it the power to make Nephilim a vassal.

Vallen hasnt got much in the way of family life, he was abandoned very early on, and then again by his foster carers. It was soon after this he got cursed, after he had been convinced he was a despicable monster that nobody could love or want around, and that his very life was a sin.

2011-09-23 [MissionGenocide]: Oh its definetly loss, and denial. Ivan cannot bring himself to accept that what has happened to him is permanent. He doesnt loathe himself, if he were to see what he has become in a mirror or something, he would hate the sight, but he wouldnt see himself in it, its his minds way of coping I suppose. Ivan moves around much like a slug, he can kind of drip downstairs but he cant climb up them. He cant hold onto things as they will slowly slip from his hands, and obviously he cant speak properly.
Really? I would think a bright colour wouldnt suit his sad personality, but if you say so :) its not like anyone else bothers about these drawings haha XD
2011-09-23 [jessicaB]: Well, the jacket was given to him by his father, the one thing that brings him happy memories still, so its like a light in the dark, as it where. Also, its colour has faded a bit with exposure to the elements, so it doesn't need to be that bright, just light.
Also, there is a meanie logic involved. He is easier to spot with a light coloured coat then a dark-coloured one...I think you know why that would be bad >:)
Ivan is a fairly major character in TornSim, so thank you for the clarification. He sees himself in a puddle dripping from part of the ceiling, and doesn't recognise it. It's been harder for me to understand why his torment, you have been a big help.

The Baron has been cursed for a great deal longer than the others, his hair is white simply because it is dead. His body has slowly unwravelled into the faces, so his body organs arent there to keep things healthy and alive, but of course he cant die. This is what causes his zombie like appearance and white hair.
New Heads are always forming, they take along time to do so though. Sometimes they might kill each other but the news one replace those that die...and that mess omn the floor im afraid is vomit, some of the head pods are reminders of the illness that befell the barons servants and workforce, so they vomit violently. The insane heads like to eat/roll in it, and wallace feels/tastes eveything the heads do

She was born on a cold day in November to a father in the army who was almost never around.
One day, father went home from the first Gulf War...and was not the same man. Irene realized what had happened to him, that he had lost his squad, and become filled with anger.
She wished that no one would ever fight in a war again, and became an anti-war protester when she was a few years older and the second Gulf War came around.
But one day, her picketing was halted by three figures that appeared that night...Shun's Vassals, Vallen, Broken and Neph!
Realizing her father would have wanted her to be brave, she dropped her sign and distracted them while the rest escaped. She ended up fighting despite her hatred of all blooshed, and did very well, considering, but she paid the price with infection...be
Appearance: Irene wears a worn out uniform, her father's and therefor a bit too big for her slight frame. She works out with Vallen, the closest thing she has to a friend, and therefore has a lot of fighting knowledge but also a lot of scars. Weapons sprout from all over her body, each shifting to her hands when she loses control and attacks. Her short hair is decorated with beads, and is dull brown. Her eyes are usually black, but turn pale red with a slit pupil when in her rages. She wears worn leather gloves of black with no fingers on her hands, and her father's boots on her feet.
Personality: If not angered, Irene is a very nice girl, with a friendly but very sad attitude. When angered, however, she becomes a true Vassal of Shun, a raging monster. He hates the damage she causes, and has come to become afraid of herself above all things. This is what caused her odd connection to Vallen, she is one of the few people who can calm him down and show his more human side.
Relations: Also of note is that Broken does not respect her any, she sees her as weak, and Vallen as weak. The normal titled cursed don't know what to think of her, sometimes a good person and sometimes a vassal,she belongs nowhere.

2011-09-28 [MissionGenocide]: ooh I like it, I was always toying with the idea of a second female vassal :) I like the story alot. However I do have one nag, I already have plans for Vallen, that clash with what youve put here. Vallen cannot be calmed, he has no "human side", Shun wouldnt allow it to happen, Vallen is also incapable of feeling connections, the only thing that exists in his mind is the dark mixing of self loathing, horror and glee. What eventually happens to Vallen at the very end I have already planned :) Im sorry to say but other than that youre character is really good ^-^

I just thought you would like the idea of a female character who is a vassal only some of the time, I don't mind changing that one detail.

Raz was an assistant to a scientist working on the curse, he was a very smart and intelligent kid and his father knew the scientist well. After the banning of the research, Razzil was the only one who insisted on continuing. Nobody has a keener understanding of the curse than him, he is working towards finding out what The Bound already knows.

2011-10-28 [MissionGenocide]: Well, to an ordinary person, people like Marius, Psychotica and Glen are very dangerous if provoked. Then there are those like Azuza and Brant, who will straight up kill anybody they encounter. Those who have more meek curses though, like Climh or the unrequited, arent dangerous.
In the face of Vassals or Shun, there isnt anyone who would flip at them, fear will consume them. That is of course, unitl Claire gets involved ;)

2012-01-13 [jessicaB]: Irene infects people with two curse-filled hollow bayonets. She can squirt a small amount of infecting substance on bullets, load them and fire. She has the longest infecting range of the Vassals this way, though with less of a success rate.
